ONE-TOUCH ENTRY MEANS EASY ACCESS.The convenient power sliding doors and power lift gate, standard on every Chrysler Town & Country, open with the touch of a few buttons on the key fob or the overhead console. They also include obstacle detection. That means if an object is in its path, the closing door or liftgate is designed to automatically stop and reverse its direction. For added Safety and Security, when a sliding door is opening, Door Alert flashes hazard lights on that side of the vehicle to alert those around you that occupants may be exiting.

What makes SmartBeam® Intelligent Headlamps so smart? They react before you do. Using sensors to detect ambient light and oncoming traffic, they automatically adjust from High to Low beams to provide the maximum viewing distance at night while protecting oncoming drivers from excessively bright lights.

A roof rack is great when you need to carry extra cargo. But most of the time, you don’t. That’s why our designers gave the Chrysler Town & Country its Stow ‘n Place™ Roof Rack System, a convenient “foldable” roof rack, standard on every Town & Country. Upright, it can carry up to 150 pounds of cargo. Then, when the crossbars fold down into the side rails, aerodynamics improve and wind noise decreases.

When the seats are in the upright position, in-floor bins give you best-in-class concealed storage space. While, the third-row seat has a class-exclusive tailgate feature, for added convenience.

THE BEST MADE EVEN BETTER WITH BLU-RAY.™ Keep your mobile devices to yourself and let this premium level of entertainment features keep your passengers occupied. The 2013 Town & Country is now available with the fist in its class dual screen Blue-Ray/DVD system. With two available nine-inch new VGA high-resolution screens that flip down from the overhead console, two USB ports, one HDMI port, all-new connectivity, and game-console inputs, the kids don’t have to settle on just one thing to watch.

The video system can be operated from either the rear-seat entertainment unit, the wireless remote, or the radio head unit. The self-contained entertainment system is located in the overhead rail, which also contains storage for the wireless headphones and remote. LED Blue Sapphire halo lighting glows from the overhead rail, providing a relaxing environment for viewing. SiriusXM Satellite Radio+ is also standard on all models.

A HEATED, FRENCH-STITCHED LEATHER-WRAPPED STEERING WHEEL IS THE LEAST WE CAN DO.

All Chrysler Town & Country steering wheels include speed control and Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) controls on the front, along with Uconnect® controls. Audio controls are located on the back. And it’s all standard. The new wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel on the Chrysler Town & Country Limited also includes a heat feature. If you have remote vehicle start, the heated steering wheel will turn on automatically when you start your minivan, if the temperature is 40°F or less. And the cloth or leather-trimmed first- and second-row available heated seats will automatically heat as well.

NEVER REACH FOR YOUR KEYS AGAIN.

The Keyless Enter ‘n Go™ ignition system, included on the Chrysler Town & Country Limited, allows you to unlock the vehicle by touching the front door handles with the key fob still in your pocket. Once inside, you can start the engine with a simple push of the Start-Stop button.

Or you can start the engine from up to 300 feet away with the available remote start system. For added comfort, remote start will cool or warm the interior to the temperature you set on the Automatic Temperature Control system. And if it’s below 40°F, it will even activate the heat feature on the seats and steering wheel automatically (if equipped).

The Chrysler Town & Country features a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine coupled with the AutoStick six-speed transmission, delivering Best-in-Class 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque with fuel economy ratings of 17 city / 25 highway mpg.

This extremely refined engine features a compact, lightweight design with dual-overhead camshafts, high-flow intake and exhaust ports, Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Throttle Control with integrated speed control.

CONTROL THAT HELPS YOU AVOID COLLISIONS.

Electronic Stability Control⁺ monitors your steering input and vehicle motion. When there’s a difference between the two, it applies selective braking and reduces engine power to guide you back on your intended path. All-speed traction control applies brake pressure to slipping wheels and reduces engine power to regain traction and vehicle stability. And Brake Assist applies and maintains maximum braking pressure in emergency braking situations, to help you stop in the shortest distance possible.

IMPROVE FUEL ECONOMY IN AN INSTANT.

Affect your overall fuel economy during normal driving conditions with a selectable fuel economizer, which adjusts engine timing and transmission shift points to optimize fuel economy. The transmission will up shift sooner, downshift later and skip select gears during shifts to allow the engine to operate at lower speeds. The torque converter clutch will engage sooner and remain on longer, and the engine idle speed will be lower. To activate this feature, just press the “ECON” button in the center stack, and a green light will indicate the ECON mode is engaged.

A SMOOTH RIDE, FULL OR EMPTY.

The Chrysler Town & Country features a MacPherson strut front suspension and twist-beam rear axle with coil springs. It provides highly responsive handling and a very smooth ride with improved stability. And when you drive with a fully packed vehicle, the available load-leveling / height-control suspension adjusts the ride height, distributing the weight of passengers and cargo evenly for optimum control to help give you a safe, secure and more comfortable ride.

The Chrysler Town & Country includes standard parking assistance features. The ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera⁺provides a wide-angle view of the area behind you and displays it on the Media Center Radio screen with on-screen guidelines. Rear Cross Path Detection monitors the hard to see angles to your left and right when backing out of a parking spot. It ignores parked cars, but alerts you if a vehicle crosses your path.

SO MUCH MORE THAN A MIRROR.

The power exterior mirrors available on the Chrysler Town & Country are a perfect example of multitasking technology. In addition to having a heat feature, being adjustable with the touch of a button, dimming automatically to help reduce glare at night, and automatically tilting down when the vehicle is shifted into reverse — these mirrors house integrated turn signals and blind spot and rear cross path alerts.

HIGH-TECH EYES IN THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD.

Providing extra help when backing up, the ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System uses sensors to detect nearby obstacles while in reverse. When it detects an object that might be outside your line of sight, ParkSense alerts you with a warning display located in the instrument cluster’s Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) and an audible tone indicating the distance between the rear bumper and the detected obstacle.

Advanced multistage front airbags, supplemental front seat-mounted side airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, and supplemental side-curtain airbags for front and rear outboard occupants are all standard.

Our front active head restraints automatically move forward and upward in the event of a rear-end collision to decrease the space between the head restraint and the occupant’s head, helping provide added neck protection for both the driver and front passenger.

The Sentry Key® Theft Deterrent System allows the Chrysler Town & Country engine to start only with the properly encoded key. If someone attempts to start the vehicle without the proper key, the engine will not operate.
